After a long winter and some serious snow storms we’re welcoming warmer temperatures, sunny days and spending time outside enjoying this rejuvenating time of year. With a new season comes an updated wardrobe and we’re craving bold, floral prints to brighten up our closets.

We’ve rounded up all the BurdaStyle patterns we could get our hands on in our specially curated floral category for spring. Below are a few of our favorites.

These island inspired prints will make you feel like you’re on vacation so get out your sunglasses, sunscreeen and Hawaiian leis! We love that these prints feel part retro and part modern. It looks trendy on everything from a jumpsuit to a skirt to a maxi dress. Mahalo!

These fun fabric prints are almost a hybrid of classic floral patterns mixed with digital technology. They are bright and playful but still edgy because they aren’t your average flower! Big and bold, they can be used on skirts, shorts and lightweight sweatshirts for chilly evening walks.

A classic floral print will never go out of style! We love these sweet prints that give pieces a romantic, timeless effect. It works perfectly on our top and maxi skirt patterns, looking ethereally beautiful. The vintage floral print on this sweatshirt gives what is usually a casual item, a more sophisticated feel.

We’ve been seeing retro items popping up all over the place and these playful retro fabrics make us want to twist and shout! Retro prints add so much character garments, you can really push the boundaries and have fun with your sewing. Have leftover fabric? Make a throwback headwrap!

What’s your favorite springtime print? Will you be going bold as the temperatues warm up?
